Moon, Star of the Damned

"A portrait of the men in power that one day proposed to keep peace by keeping people happy with products and consumerism. Then they themselves became the lords of chaos, bloodshed and war..."

They said, since we are cursed
Let's make war, let's spread the blood
They thought, we deserve it since we are cursed
And they ran over each other, there was more
The darkness became menacing
A harmless thing reflecting
What was roaring silently, inside of us all
In the mirror, the image we created for ourselves

With all its creeds of salvation
With all the propaganda of purity
With all the refutation of the perfect
With all the statements, insufficiency

With the mark of sin, in front
With the mark of all, shared
With the mark of broken noses
With the mark on the stomach

The fear of the sun because in appearance
You are almost naked and feel no shelter
When the nearest star arrives, they said
Our penance will be the pleasure that corrodes
We will flee from death as we approach it
But very true, the imminent punishment
That we inflict on ourselves, for believing
Which from the minds snatched the life that passed away

With all its dreams of salvation
With all the babble of purity
With all the variations of perfection
With all the visions, insufficiency

With the moon of sin, we gaze
With the moon of all, shared
With the moon of broken wings
With the moon in the heart

They thought they were snakes, they left
They made nests to lay eggs
Devious, they began to poison
Weak impressionable prey
Managed ephemeral influences
Wanted to redeem themselves from the mark
When they could simply disavow
Exit the hypnotic state

With poisons of self-redemption
With the killing of the impure
With all variations of the perfect
With all visions, insufficiency

With the venom of the brand, we watch
With the poison of all, shared
With the poison of broken wings
With the poison in the voice
