Navigating the Labyrinth, Crafting my Mosaic
I’m a former photographer who is currently transitioning to Video Game Narrative Design. I have a passion for creating things, and I’m always looking for new ways to express myself creatively. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess and writing poetry. I also have interest in digital drawing, music composition, and graphic design. I have delved into subjects like user interface design now working on developing my skills in this area in a general way not just graphical interfaces. I intend to offer a different perspective on subjects and apply in new ideas, mainly take my posts as food for thought.
Life isn’t a pre-programmed level; it’s a winding labyrinth with hidden detours and swirling fog. Mine, in particular, took an early turn into the murky realm of intrusive thoughts, culminating in a schizophrenia diagnosis in my early 20s. It wasn’t the promised path, but within its tangled corridors, I stumbled upon a stubborn ember – resilience.
Seven years later, after forging a shaky truce with medication and my trusty mindfulness mantra (Transcendental Meditation!), I stand blinking in the sunlight. I’m living proof that challenges, even monumental ones, can become the grit that polishes our creative diamonds. This grit fuels my passion for narratives. It’s the same grit that dances through my pen in poetry; a fire I hope to one day ignite in digital paintings and melodic compositions.
Beyond the lines of code and brushstrokes, I’m a lifelong gamer, forever chasing stories that leave ink stains on my soul. Like gaming, my belief in free software runs deep. That’s why my future books will be crafted under the CC-BY-SA license – knowledge shouldn’t be locked in gilded cages. Let it flow like a wild river, carving fertile valleys of innovation and empowering everyone, not just the privileged few.
